What is Washington Medical Group Alliance (WMGA)?
WMGA was founded in 1995 by eleven leading group practices who saw
opportunities to accomplish together what individual clinics could not do
alone. Rapid and profound change in the healthcare environment, a sense of
common purpose, and a desire to take established relationships to another
level catalyzed the development of WMGA. Today, the thirteen owner clinics
of WMGA continue to see the role of the Alliance as:
- Increasing revenues through joint ventures,
- Reducing expenses through shared products and services, and
- Improving operational performance through sharing information among member
clinics.
WMGA clinics unite in a vision of physician-directed medical care, group
practice, and continuous quality improvement.
